MT-10 & MT-10R; Advanced troop-back type, 35-foot diameter, steerable
The MT-10 is a steerable, 35-foot diameter parabolic shaped canopy, with anti-inversion netting. Its 30 gores are block constructed using nonporous, rip stop nylon. Very little air passes through the material MIL-C-44378 Type I (0-3 CFM porosity) resulting in slower than normal rate of descent.
The MT-10R parachute is reserve type designed to be activated manually, by means of a ripcord, by the parachutist in the event the primary parachute malfunctions. The 26-foot conical type troop chest reserve has a spring loaded pilot chute with bridle line.

MC1 SERIES; Troop-back type, 35-foot diameter, steerable
The MC1 series, MC1-1B/C/D/E, troop back personnel parachute provides capability to safely deliver an airborne soldier, and individual equipment, from an aircraft in flight, for a vertical assault on the enemy. The MC1 series maneuverable parachute assembly is used primarily for a premeditated jump when a precision landing in a small target area is necessary.

T-10 SERIES; Troop-back type, 35-foot diameter, non-steerable
The T-10 series, T-10B/C/D, troop back personnel parachute provides capability to safely deliver an airborne soldier and individual equipment, from an aircraft in flight, for a vertical assault on an enemy. The T-10 extended skirt parachute was standardized by the US Government as a troop personnel parachute and has been used successfully since that time with relatively few modifications.

T-10R, MIRPS; Reserve-chest type, 24-foot diameter, non-steerable
The T-10R parachute is reserve type designed to be activated manually, by means of a ripcord, by the parachutist in the event the primary parachute malfunctions. These are emergency parachutes opened manually by means of a ripcord actuated by the jumper. The 24-foot type troop chest reserve has a spring-actuated umbrella type pilot parachute with bridle line. The 24-foot type troop chest reserve (T-10R) has a spring-actuated umbrella type pilot parachute with bridle line. The modified improved reserve parachute system (MIRPS) has a deployment assistance device activated pilot parachute with bridle line and apex weight.
